To promote human rights and contribute to peace building & security efforts and the realization of peace-full co-existence of communities and healthier planet.

Our program focuses on preparing communities to respond quickly to conflict; support the capacity of local systems to fairly manage natural resources and intervene escalating tensions among the communities.

Our peace building & security program also emphases, conflict transformation, preventing & countering terrorism through (dialogues & cohesion, CVE, PVE, climate change related security risks and peace building).

Strengthened collaboration between communities living in the region as well as the security institutions through joint dialogue sessions, community platforms, development of training manual, trainings and a joint peace action that paved the way for reconciliation and peace.

The capacity of the community peace structures was also enhanced, and their antagonistic attitude changed.

These achievements led to increased peace oriented attitudes among target communities in region, contributed to the development of Garissa County Action plan in preventing and countering violent extremism in Garissa (GCAP 2018-2023).
