Our initial purpose was to respond to emergency and emerging conflict situation in our areas of operation, however the change in context has allowed AID-AFRIKA to adopt in order to address emerging issues like violent extremism, climate change related security risks and peace building and the linkages they have with the existing conflict.

We believe reforms and development should always come from within and not from external forces.

To undertake its mandate the organization is also focusing on upgrading its staff capacity and organizational management and financial systems to be able to respond to emergency and development programmes.

This training helps the organization to adhere to better accountability,
transparency and contingency plan for better action preparedness on emergency and development programmes.
